Where the budget goes

A mix engineer shapes balance, space, dynamics and consistency between verse, chorus and bridge. That takes time to organise stems, check edits, set buses and test exports on headphones and monitors. At Sipopojexadvisory mix and podcast engineers share the same control room; you get a steady workflow and clear delivery rules.

Per track, hourly or EP package

For a single release we charge €195 per track. That fits a song with a manageable track count and one clear reference. If you want to attend while we balance, the in-studio hourly rate is €115 — useful when you decide effects or structure on the spot.

Up to six songs that share one sonic direction often suit the EP package at €920 better than separate tracks. Send a track list and approximate stem counts via contact; we confirm the option before you pay the 30% deposit.

What you deliver sets the time

Export stems with clear names: drums, bass, guitar L/R, lead vocal, backing, FX returns. Avoid a limiter on the premix master if we need to remix. Note tempo, key and any tempo changes; that saves guesswork.

If comping or tuning is still open, plan it before mixing or say so explicitly. We do not turn rough ideas into a finished song without quoting — an honest scope beats a budget that jumps mid-session.

Revisions: 2 rounds included

We include 2 revision rounds in the agreed mix fee. A round means one bundled list of notes (not ten separate messages over weeks). Write feedback concretely: “vocal 1 dB lower in chorus”, “tighter bass around 100 Hz”, “more space for guitar left”.

Reference tracks help, but we do not clone them; loudness and genre differ. After included rounds, extra passes can be hourly or per track; we discuss that upfront if you expect heavy detail work.

Mastering and downstream costs

Mixing and mastering are separate. Mastering rates are under mastering; many artists master an EP as a package. Budget mastering beside mixing, plus artwork or distribution — outside Sipopojexadvisory B.V. but part of your release plan.

For streaming in the Netherlands and EU, usual loudness targets apply; we deliver mixes mastering engineers can take further without clipping surprises. Ask for a short stem export for your mastering engineer before the final mix print if useful.

Amounts include 21% VAT as shown on the site. Business clients with payment terms: default 14 days after invoice, by agreement.

Planning and communication

Send project info to [email protected] with links or cloud folders; state a realistic deadline. We reply within 2 business days. Opening hours: Monday–Friday 10:00–19:00, Saturday 11:00–17:00, Sunday closed.. Do not stack mixing on your first recording day unless you deliberately reserve fix time.
