Under the brand Sipopojexadvisory we run a recording studio in Amsterdam. The studio opened in 2019 and has 3 rooms, including a live room of 28 m² and 2 vocal booths. We keep 24 microphones and 8 headphone sets. The live room holds at most 5 musicians at once. Opening hours: Monday–Friday 10:00–19:00, Saturday 11:00–17:00, Sunday closed.

We publish these details because article 3:15d of the Dutch Civil Code requires a provider of an information-society service to make them easy to find, and because article 2:246 of that Code requires a B.V. to state its name, legal form and registered office. Visiting the site or sending the contact form does not create a contract. How a booking is formed is set out in the terms and conditions.

2. Registration and tax numbers

Sipopojexadvisory B.V. is entered in the commercial register of the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce. We put the registration number on quotes, invoices and this site, as the Commercial Registers Act 2007 requires.

We charge VAT under the 1968 Turnover Tax Act. Prices on the site include VAT at 21 %. The net amount appears on the quote; for Vocal recording that is €80.99 per hour against €98 including VAT. All services are listed on the services page.

3. Management and publication

The sole director of Sipopojexadvisory B.V. is Maarten van Dijk. He is also lead engineer and the person responsible for the content of this website.

Sessions are run by the team named on the about page: besides Maarten van Dijk, Sophie Bakker (mix and podcast engineer) and Jeroen Visser (studio coordinator and mastering). Only the company is a party to the contract, not staff members in their personal capacity, except where the law says otherwise — for example in case of intent or wilful recklessness.

We reply within 2 working days. Visits are by appointment. How to get here: From Wibautstraat metro station (M51, M53, M54) it is about an 8-minute walk via Wibautstraat and Linnaeusstraat. Trams 3 and 7 stop at Ruyschstraat, roughly 2 minutes on foot. The entrance is at street level next to the bicycle racks.

A request by form or phone is not yet a booking. The steps to a reservation are in article 4 of the terms.

TransIP B.V. keeps technical connection data (IP address, time, requested page, user-agent) for security and fault analysis. Those logs stay in the European Union. What we do with them is described in the privacy policy.

6. Contact form and transfer to the United States

The form on the contact page is processed by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a provider established in the United States. Your message — name, e-mail, phone if you add it, requested service, preferred date and the project text — goes first to FormSubmit and then to [email protected].

That is a transfer to a country outside the European Economic Area. We rely on the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission (GDPR article 46(2)(c)) where FormSubmit uses them. If those safeguards are missing in a given case, we rely on GDPR article 49(1)(b): the transfer is necessary to answer your request for a quote. FormSubmit acts as our processor; the arrangements are in the data processing agreement.

If you prefer to avoid that transfer, write directly to [email protected] or call 020 244 1893. We treat that message the same way. Retention and your rights: privacy policy and cookie policy. We keep your cookie choice for 182 days under the key sppj_consent_v1. You can change that choice.

7. Using the website

The site exists to present the studio, the services, rates, the guides and the FAQ, and to let you send a request. There is no account, no basket and no online payment. A contract is formed only after written confirmation by both sides, as article 4 of the terms explains.

We work on a usable site, including with assistive tools. What we do and what remains open is in the accessibility statement. Maintenance, a host outage or a security measure may take the site down for a while. That does not give rise to damages, except in case of intent or gross negligence. Limits on the content itself are in the disclaimer.

8. Intellectual property of the site

Texts, layout, code, the Sipopojexadvisory name and the images on sipopojexadvisory.click belong to Sipopojexadvisory B.V. or to whoever licensed them to us, and are protected by the Dutch Copyright Act. Copying, sharing or adapting them beyond what the statute allows — including quotation — needs prior written permission.

We reserve against text and data mining of this site, including for training artificial-intelligence systems. That reservation is machine-readable in /.well-known/tdmrep.json.

Some photographs are illustrative and generated with AI. They do not show real clients or sessions. Fonts are served from our own domain.
