About us
A compact recording studio in an Amsterdam row house: live room, control room and vocal booths, with engineers who mix, master and run podcast sessions themselves.
History and address
Sipopojexadvisory opened in 2019 in Amsterdam-Oost, at Ruyschstraat 14, 1091 BR Amsterdam. Street-level entrance beside the bike racks — practical when you carry gear or load in a band.
We focus on artists who want a dedicated engineer, not just an empty room. Rates are published and every booking gets a written quote through contact.
The rooms
Live room (28 m²)
Treated space for bands up to about 5 players, with rugs and wedge monitors at the side.
Vocal booths (2)
Isolated booths for singing, rap and voice-over, with sight lines to the desk.
Control room
Hybrid analogue and digital workflow, studio monitors and outboard for tracking, mixing and mastering.
Gear and deliverables
We keep around 24 microphones and 8 headphone systems. Bring your own instruments; the rehearsal room has backline for rehearsals.
After sessions we deliver files as agreed on the service page — usually 24-bit WAV. Projects are stored 12 months; see session files and rights.
Getting here
From Wibautstraat metro station (M51, M53, M54) it is about an 8-minute walk via Wibautstraat and Linnaeusstraat. Trams 3 and 7 stop at Ruyschstraat, roughly 2 minutes on foot. The entrance is at street level next to the bicycle racks. Opening hours: Monday–Friday 10:00–19:00, Saturday 11:00–17:00, Sunday closed. Closed on Sundays. Booked sessions are run by someone who records, mixes or masters — not unattended hire.
